Hey Council:
We have 40 spots available for our "Dear Evan Hansen" field trip and we barely have 20 signed up. Some of those not signed up include some of you, so if you want to go please pick up the info soon.
There are deadlines that have to be met.
If we don't get enough people to go to meet our quota, we may have to cancel the trip. Please spread the word because we want the Paramount to keep offering things like this.
This is a Tony Award Winner for Best Musical and this time the show is open to all MP and MG students!
It's only 20 bucks plus a small art-type project. So worth it!

how else could we share about this event? posters? ask asb(or whoever) to post on their social media. Also a thought. i think we don’t have as much people because it doesn’t correspond with a class ya know? you guys probably already figured that out butttt... WHATEVER. you get what i mean.

We weirdly had a hard time with "Hamilton" too last year. We ended up giving back a bunch of tickets that we paid for.
Social media works. We should, at the very least, get everyone who is in Drama Club involved. Not even our entire council is signed up right now. They took away all of the restrictions that we had with "Hamilton" (only 11th graders or 12th who have taken history...only MP students, etc).
Just keep spreading the word. I'd hate to have to email the Paramount next week and say..."Sorry, we suck so much that we couldn't get 40 people out of a possible 2600 to come see this show. " The deadlines are concerning me. We do have a lot of people who signed up originally that I can't contact because of illegible handwriting on their emails. Maybe someone can try to interpret those? Maybe you know those students?

One problem we may be having is MG is doing the same thing but its $10 cheaper so not many MG will go with us

Yeah. Unfortunately, our school won't pay a dime towards it, so we're on our own with Drama Club. Even at 20 bucks, it's still a good deal.
Plus our bus will be fun.

Here are some of the people that signed up originally that I'm having trouble contacting or inviting to the Google Classroom. They have not signed the "official" sign up sheet:
Angelica Nguyen, Claire Robertson, Chloe Westom, Martelle Richwine, Kaeli Coms, Elise Sumsion, Finn Hoover, Malia Linayad-Beva, Johuna? Ochod, Kris Lawler, Jamie Lawler, and Finn Babaldua?
We're currently at 21 people. If, by chance all of these names joined us we'd be at 33, and if those that I invited (that haven't responded yet) would push us up to 39.
It's still first to sign up, the first guaranteed to go, so if you know anyone above, let them know. If they're from MG, just remind them that for 10 bucks more they get the cool bus that's more likely to break out into random sing-a-longs.

We still need 12 people to join us.
I know MG now has their own bus but our bus will have singing, the cool kids and food!
The Paramount is allowing me to extend the art deadline to December 31st if we can get those 12 by Monday. I still need everyone's paperwork Monday, but that'll give you some breathing room with the project if you need more time.
If I can't give the Paramount all 40 names by Monday, we'll lose the tickets we couldn't "sell" and your art projects will still be due Wednesday.
There's got to be someone out there that needs to "be found."
