Let's see if all 8 of you can agree on one date to meet during the first week of October. I'd prefer October 1st, 2nd or 3rd because I need to use Oct 4th to buy Oktoberfest supplies.
I need all of you to chime in before rehearsal on Thursday (Sept 27th)
We need to meet next week to do a few things:
-Decide if we want to do the 5th Ave Awards again (we need to approve $100 if so)
-Go over our inventory for the October 5th Oktoberfest night. Do we need to buy anything from Cash and Carry. We know we need Club Soda/Whip Cream/half and half, but what else? What about cupcakes? Yay/Nay
-Plan our Oktoberfest booth. What do you want it to look like? How are you going to draw in the customers? Do we need to make any banners or posters or signs? We should do that. We'll definitely want a canopy or two due to unpredictable weather conditions (plus we'll want to hang lights on them since it gets dark between 7 and 7:30.
-Plan for our Club Meeting, October 9th. We need to advertise it and plan on recruiting stage and tech crew. We'll need them October 29th through the end of the run. I'd like to see us advertise it better than the first club meeting, if possible.
-I might have some Amazon purchases to approve (for cool things like wands that shoot fire, etc.)
-We need to plan on advertising for our show. We should have all advertising materials up by the last week of October (including posters, press releases, etc.) Anyone want to design a poster? If not, I can do it. These will be the cheap (printed at school) posters. We save our poster budget for the musical.
-Anything else that needs to be brought up? We can also talk about our first few days of rehearsals.
Please respond by Thursday 2:30 pm. I'd like a meeting with all 8 of you, so pick the date that works best. We'll probably meet at 2:20 (plan accordingly) so we don't delay the start of rehearsal too much. Those not involved directly in the show, can take on tasks like inventory, planning for Oktoberfest while rehearsal is going on.
