Just a reminder that you are responsible for your stage props in the show.
Please take a moment before we darken the lights back there (at 6:30 on show nights- 2:30 today) to make sure that you know where each and every prop you use is, and where it's located. The cart was organized, but it's not anymore, so it's even more important that you take care of that.
The reason that we want you to have check at the latest a 1/2 before the show starts is so we have at least a 1/2 hour to find your missing prop. So far, you've all (but one maybe) have done a great job of putting the props back on the cart. That's the real key to not losing your props, but we don't always know if someone has snuck into the auditorium to cause some mischief or if one of my Drama students has gone rogue. They've all been told though that if there is any evidence that they messed with our show that they would be banned from the auditorium until after closing night.
If you find a prop that is broken (a plate, etc) please let me know as soon as you notice, so I can repair it.) This is why I have a huge supply of duct tape.
Just remember, that if you don't check your props and you can't find a prop that you need on stage, you're kind of the one that looks silly if you don't have the prop required for the scene.
