Drowsy notes 3/26
One month until opening!
-Quiet backstage. So chatty during the man’s speech.
Man= Make sure that you turn up your record after you intro the cast. It might be better to just talk to the audience (so we don’t lose your face), and let the cast members do some type of pose as you introduce them.
P 14 Feldzieg go over line ‘Kitty for the last time…
P 14 Kitty- It’s ‘Singing , Acting, Ballet” Not “Dancing, Acting, Ballet”
P 15 Feldzeig “Kitty, I don’t have time..”
P 16 Gangster 1 “Allow me to elucidate..”
P 16 Kitty “Don’t I know you” You were mesmerized by the pastries….
P 17 Kitty “Holy Cats!”
P 19 Robert “Now Don’t worry…”
Cold Feets! You both have come so far, but still keep practicing. The beginning looks great, but at times I get the feeling that you’re getting lost.
George practice putting on that blindfold.
Bottom of 23 Feldzeig and Janet are both guilty of paraphrasing.
“Show Off” who gets the camera? I could only find one that’ll flash on cue.
To me: Get fruit for Underling’s tray
“Show Off” some of you are looking a little lost in spots. Go over those videos from Elizabeth. This one only has 12 views. It should have more than that if you’ve been truly watching it.
We need to get a cup of water in Janet’s hand, so we can do the voice gag at the end. I’ll record the voice sometime Tuesday so we can use it Wednesday.

Spit take looked good, but notice you have to actually spit in his face.
P 36 Janet “Inspiration?” That’s important because Drowsy repeats you.
“Stumble” Drowsy don’t hold back on this song. Make it so over the top!
Victoria pointed out that “Stumble” has a chorus element. We should find time this week to add that in.
P 39 Drowsy Paraphrasing “argument” and “moron”
P 39 Adolpho “king of romance”
P 39 Aldolpho = your whole speech before the song starts.

That’s that. Thanks everyone for showing that you’ve been working on your own time to improve the show! Our goal for Wednesday (when we do Act I again) is to have “ZERO” missed lines. So please go over our problem spots and practice where you’ve been having issues. I will not help you Wednesday, so if you get stuck, it’s up to you become unstuck!
Tomorrow: 2:30 sharp around the piano for warmups. We’re doing Act 2 twice and then working on choreo rough spots.
