I've spent most of spring break gathering props for most of you and I'd like you to start using them on Monday.
When you arrive, and have signed in, check the prop cart to see what we have. There may be something for you, but we have rules:
1) Do not touch a prop if it is not yours. Only the character that is supposed to handle the prop can touch the prop. We should never see anyone else with your prop. You can't even have anyone get your prop for you.
2) Some props are fragile and many of them are not created to last much past closing night. Please be careful with your prop and treat them with care. DO NOT DROP THEM ON THE CEMENT STAGE.
3) Some props are borrowed from other places. If you break or damage one of these props you are responsible for the replacement cost.
4) Always return your prop to the prop cart when you are done using it for the night. If you don't...you may not be able to find it for the next show. It happens more often than you think.
5) Rules 2, 3 and 4 are why we only want you touching your own props. If only you are handling it, you'll be the most careful with it.
6) Fun Fact: These rules also apply to costumes. except you'll be returning your costume to the costume room.
I do need some prop help for the Mob scene!
We don't have many items for you to carry into battle. We have some torches, but if you would like to carry something else, I'm asking you to bring it.
If you have any prop related questions, this if the place to ask them.
