I hope you'll seriously consider auditioning for the show now! You'll have the most fun ever on this show and probably make lifelong friends.
We did "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" here at MP in 2005 and the students in that show still keep in touch on Facebook and one couple even got married! (Hope that doesn't scare you off...) This is the first time that we're repeating a show that I've done before and I'm excited to revisit it.
One thing I noticed while everyone was working was a lack of um...guys auditioning for the show. If you know anyone who might be interested in auditioning but couldn't make it today (and they're by chance a guy) have them stop by MC-8 and pick up an audition packet. At some date (that 2nd week of January), we'll have an informal audition workshop where people can practice the dance, and those that were gone can learn it.
If you need a karaoke version of a song that you want to sing for your audition, Youtube is also your best source for that. Just search for the name of your song followed by the word 'karaoke.' We can play the video's music over the sound system in the auditorium when you audition or we can stick a microphone next to your device's speaker.
