We need to approve the funds to replace Emmaline's broken mic (and anything else that gets broken this week...hopefully not.) I found a cheap replacement on Amazon, cheap, of course compared to the $500 retail price...still not cheap, but not $500.
We need to talk about the December Audition workshop
We need to talk about the Winter Variety Show. We have officially put on the calendar a November 26th start date to give us 10 school days to rehearse. We won't need all 10 days obviously, but we need to narrow down the dates you want rehearsal. Remember, this entire thing is in your hands...I'm just a lowly supervisor.
Here's a fun add on! I was just contacted by the Paramount Theatre. There were about 50 schools competing to get a spot for the January 24th matinee of "Dear Evan Hansen." It came down to an essay writing contest.
Apparently I can write good essays. We're in!
If we get the info on tickets, we can approve that next week too. We'll need to buy the tickets and rent the bus..and then those going will reimburse Drama Club by paying $20 each. We'd have to approve it as a fundraiser.
