We'll want to meet to take care of a couple of things:
1) We should debrief Oktoberfest. What went well, what didn't. I was thinking we should create something about how much of each thing to buy and sticking it on the Italian Soda cart so it'll be useful next year. What did we run out of, what did we have too much of...etc.
2) We should plan our publicity strategy for the fall play. I'll probably have the banner done this weekend and ready to hang. Since no one jumped at making posters, I'll have them done and printed up. These will be cheap, black and white versions because we want to spend "zero" money on them.
3) We should really start some planning for the winter variety/radio show. We're going to be really busy over the next 4 weeks, and we start this thing literally the following Monday after our final show. I'd rather figure some things out in advance than try to plan it all during our Hell week.
4) Same with the musical. We need to confirm our choreographer and then work on costume assistance. I haven't heard back from Gussie and Gerties, so that's probably out, but if someone has contact with Emmaline...I do know that the Village Theatre Kidstage did Beauty just a few years ago. They may be a source for costumes and possible set pieces. If we can't borrow from them, we may need to plan on expensive rentals from somewhere or bust out our sewing machines.
5) If you're on council and aren't a cast member, be sure to sign up to help with the fall play in some way. I'd like a council member supervising ticket sales, and we can always use reliable help in the light booth and at the sound board.
