I know you're in a hurry to get off stage and greet your audience, but the last 2 shows you've been really rushing your bows.
I watched you carefully last night and pin pointed your problem. You're all doing a great job of getting out there on time...but don't rush the bow part! I saw at least 2 groups start separating during your small group bows....before you even got the full bow in! Take that time to properly bow.
The problem that we're having is that you finish bows so fast that we miss the "moment" of the final bow with Belle being welcomed on stage to the tune of "Beauty and the Beast." That's supposed to be a big moment for Victoria and the audience and we've been totally losing it. I notice Morgan trying to stall, but he can only stall for so long before it becomes awkward and he has not choice but to bring out Victoria early.
Please spread the word. Savor your bow! You worked hard and earned it!
In the groups when we go out do we hold hands or do our own thing?
That is up to your mini-group. Bowing as a group though looks better. The key is waiting until everyone is lined up and then bowing as a group. No one should attempt to bow when the whole group isn't in position yet.
Yeah, I've been having problems with getting out on time because I see an opening to stand, but then it closes off as the ensemble is already bowing, so I'm just kinda... Stuck.
So you're not able to get into the line for your group bow? Then your group is doing it wrong. That's a big part of our problem. No group should start bowing until the entire group is lined up. You shouldn't be denied your chance to bow because you get stuck. Groups should always wait until everyone is present.
