One of my goals on this show is to get the program together before the end of the month. That way we can save on shipping costs as the programs leisurely are shipped from New York to Marysville, Wa.
One of the things we like to do in the programs (aside from head shots) are program biographies. If you have never seen a program biography, you can check out the ones that I'm leaving on the piano. Basically it's a paragraph that tells the audience who you are, shows you've been in, people you'd like to thank and then a quote from anyone (as long as it's school appropriate.) Biographies are written in the third person meaning it's to be read as if someone was talking about you (not you personally talking.)
I need this done by February 15th. Those who have been in shows can post old ones as examples if you'd like.
Here's the format that I want you to follow:
Name Character Played School (If from MG state if ISC, etc) and your grade
Your paragraph goes underneath this. Put show names in quotations.
"Your quote goes at the bottom" - Anonymous
If you have questions, just ask! I need all of these in 2 weeks! Also if you have info that we need to add in the program like crew, choreographer helpers, etc, that would be awesome.

Emmaline Savidge, Janet Van De Graaff/Costume Designer/Wig Designer, 12th Grade, MGHS-Biomed
This is Emmaline’s sixth and final show at MPHS. She is currently the MG drama president. Emmaline was recently a featured vocalist in Beauty and the Beast at Village Theatre KIDSTAGE and was previously seen at MPHS in their production of Shrek the Musical as Pinocchio. For Shrek she received two 5th Ave award nominations one for acting and another for wig design. Thanks to M,D,N,E,S, and KIDSTAGE for all of their support.

Angela Ferguson, Gangster #2, MPHS, 10th Grade
This is Angela's second show for the MP/MG Drama Club. She was recently Michelle Jay in the Awesome 80's Prom. She would love to thank all her friends and family who pressure her into doing things that she knows she loves to do. She also loves her Mom.

Gerard Lee-Yaw, Underling, 12th Grade, MGHS-ISC
This is Gerard's third and last show in the MG/MP Drama club, but his last name has never been spelled correctly on the post-audition cast list as of yet. Gerard can also be seen in the MGHS-ISC feature-film "Invisible Ties", a student created feature length film where he plays the role of Lewis. After graduation, Gerard intends to take classes at EVCC for a year before transferring to a university. Gerard would like to thank the ISC staff for helping him become who he is today.

Nicholas Bouchard, Man in The Chair, 12th grade MGHS ISC
This is Nicholas's first live performance though he is no stranger to acting. throughout high school he was a prevalent film student going on to act in the ISC feature film, Invisible Ties, as Adam Archer. Soon after he was referred to join the drama club, though reluctant to join at first he hasn't questioned his decision once. Would like to thank Mr. Christopher and Mr. Chapin for always pushing him forward in film to be his very best, and all the staff at the ISC for catching him and picking him up when he falls. He wishes to pursue a career continuing his work from high school. Producing, editing, or acting in film.

As a child Kaitlyn would put on shows at home for her parents and family, she would like to thank all of her family and friends who have pushed her on to doing this show, because when she wanted to, she didn't have that push, but everyone around her motivated her towards that now gained confidence.

Thanks to you 12 that did your job. The other 4 of you...it's too late. It's tough love, but you have to realize on shows that deadlines are deadlines. You won't have biographies in the program and most likely we won't need headshots from you.
My job this weekend is to start putting together the program. I'll have to do it with what I have.
