I'm assuming this is to allow us to thaw out and uncover our cars and driveways.
This leaves us only one possible day of rehearsal this week and only possible school day. (No school Friday or Monday!)
If there is school on Thursday, EVERYONE plan to be at rehearsal. We'll be going over music and I may or may not have a new calendar for you.
Some have asked if we can change the date of the show and that's a negative. We're just going to have to make the most of the rehearsal time that we have left. I'm giving Victoria the freedom to add in music rehearsals as needed and I'm going to double up on blocking when the time comes. There will be calendar changes...we just don't have them for you yet. Just EVERYONE plan on being at all rehearsals once school starts up again.
There's still a number of cast members who haven't checked these boards once since before the snow days started. I'm going to have Drama Council meet with each and every one of those cast members to ask what the problem was there. If more than anything, this snow event showed the importance of us being able to communicate at non-rehearsal moments.
One of the things Victoria will probably be doing, once we return, is going over songs that we've done already. If you haven't been working on these this week, it's really going to show at rehearsal. Victoria has spent a ton of time and created some great things for you to work with. Please use them if you haven't yet. We're already behind on this show...please don't make it worse by being THAT person who hasn't picked up their script/music since last Thursday.
On Friday, we're scheduled to go to the Everett Village Theatre and pick up some costume pieces and props. If you can make it, we'll be at the smaller theatre across from the Everett Performing Arts Center at 12:30 pm. This could change if the weather changes, so stay tuned. We need people with big cars/vans to help us transport items from the theatre back to M-PHS. If you can help, just let us know below.
We'll see each other soon...I can feel it...
