So...
Having issues securing the rights to "The House at Pooh Corner" because Disney has kind of frozen (let it go) the rights to Pooh related plays. I'm guess it's "Christopher Robin" related, but as of this week, it doesn't look like Pooh Corner is happening.
So...
I've been searching for a substitute and I stumbled across something that could actually be fun and bring in profit.
I found a parody of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" which is available to us for free. I have a copy of the script and I've been retooling it a little to make it more family friendly. If you've read the script of "HPandtheCC" you probably noticed some huge plot hole and inconstancies. This play points them out and then some. It's funny, clever and I think it has potential. Oh yeah, it's also free. That'll save us $600 which is great because one of our goals this year is to recoup the money lost last year.
Thoughts? Other ideas?
I can bring copies to our first meeting. If you want a copy sent to you via email, just put your email address below. I'm not done cleaning it up yet, but as soon as I am, I can send it to you. Running time is about 90 minutes and sets are minimal or projected.
Hope you had a great break!

I think it's a good idea, and especially good financially obviously. I don't have a problem with it but if someone else has an idea I'm open to it.

Bonus thought: We'd be presenting our show the same week "Fantastic Beasts 2" comes out.
It's also the 20th anniversary year of Harry Potter #Potter20
